Using the internet to search for information for assignments has become a common practice for college students. However, students often do not know where to find information that is suitable for studying purpose and how to evaluate information once they collected. In this session, students will learn how to find relevant information for their assignments effectively.

The training session will cover four key areas.

  • How online research can help students doing assignments
  • The type of information and where to find them
  • How to find information effectively
  • How to evaluate the quality of online information
  • How to record the information found
